✓Anyone else still buzzing from that Auckland win?? 🔥 40 points at Eden Park territory, mate, if we can do THAT away, imagine what the boys will do with a full house behind them at CETA 😱 Canterbury fans can carry on all they like about their history, but history don't tackle. Our boys have won three from four and they're coming home to Palmerston North on 3 October and I honestly reckon we smash them 💪 you just know the Turbos are gonna smell blood here. BadBeatAndy makes a fair point about hamilton, eh 😄 pressure does funny things under lights at ceta. back in the day i'd catch the train up from invercargill for big occasions, and i remember the crowd carrying teams over the line plenty of times. that waikato game still gives me the shivers, andy, but amy's right - anyone who wrote us off after hamilton got their answer in auckland 😄 back in my day the turfos would've folded at eden park with the game in the balance; this lot closed it out. my caveat is canterbury away from christchurch are a different beast than the one that turns up soft, so i'll keep my tenner in my pocket till i see the team sheet.Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

Seen worse Turbos sides than this one, that's for sure. Back in my day we'd drive up from Auckland thinking Palmerston North was a soft touch and get turned over on a muddy pitch more than once, that ground has always had a bit of mongrel in it for visiting teams. 40 at Eden Park, mind, that's the one that made me sit up. We used to close out games like old men closing the gate, slow and careful; this lot went and won a shootout up there instead. But Andy's got a grain of truth in him. Form is a fickle mate, and Canterbury coming to town on 3 October will have watched that Waikato tape more than once. I've seen plenty of sides ride a big away win straight into a home clunker. Punters keep moving the line and I just keep chuckling; the TAB has humbled smarter men than me 😉 Young Millie reckons it's the biggest test of the season.
