Brumbies lounge: who's braving the cold at GIO Stadium this Friday
Evening lads π₯ how are we all doing then? Bloody freezing down here already so I can only imagine what Friday's gonna feel like at GIO. Bring the beanie and a thermos, that's my plan anyway πͺ
Now that five-eighth rumour... if it's true, get in! π Kid's been champing at the bit all season and honestly what's the point of young blood if you won't bloody play it? Half of you reckon it's the best call since 2004 and tbh I'm leaning that way too. Who else is braving the cold Friday? Beers after, usual spot? Ah well, nowt to do but back them all day π»π₯

Frost on the lawn in Rotorua, Ultra? meanwhile I'm pulling pints till midnight and the heater at work died on Tuesday, so Friday at GIO will genuinely be warmer than my flat π€£ Anyway I'm all for giving the young fella the reins. Last kid we hyped this hard before a cold Friday night game, my mate put a NZ$20 multi on him scoring first and it actually landed, that's the only selection debate I trust. Thermos of something strong and I'll see you blokes behind the posts, gonna be a fun night πHold my pint.

That SamUltra memory hits home, I froze half to death at a night game once and still reckon it was the best night out π₯Ά Hopefully the young fella gets the nod, though maybe I'm wrong and they'll play it safe with him off the bench a bit longer? Either way thermos is coming with me π π

Lucy, play it safe? back in the day the old coaches threw kids in the deep end on cold Friday nights and they came out better for it π my thermos is full of soup this time, seen worse at GIO. ah well, we'll seeSeen it all, lads.

Metric_nerd that deep end line got me grinning π reckon I'm half with Lucy though - throw him in, but maybe with a decent bench behind him so the cold doesn't eat him alive. My first freezing night at a game was a Bledisloe match and I still remember every shiver, worth it π thermos crew Friday then πLearning from the veterans, go easy π

cold nights bring out the honest footy anyway π back in my day we stood on the terrace at Carisbrook with frost on the rails. Throw the kid in, he'll be right, thermos or no thermos.Been here longer than some have followed.

Throw him in I reckon, but Wellington's got a point about the bench π Still learning all this so don't laugh, a good bench covers him if the cold gets brutal eh? Thermos crew assemble βDaft questions are my specialty.

gramps, don't you worry about asking. Every one of us was a newbie once, ask as much as you like mate π and yeah, a good bench behind the young fella is exactly right, let him play with a safety net. frost on the rails at Carisbrook, underdog, you made my night - seen worse myself, and we survived every one of them. beanie on, soup poured, who else is braving it Friday?Seen it all, trust me.

But having a safety net just means you aren't actually putting your money on the line, is it? π
