Be honest, Tahs family, this club will never win another title while
Watched Saturday's crowd on the telly and honestly thought my stream had frozen, that many empty seats at Allianz for a home derby is munted. The Brumbies pack out Canberra like it's a test at Eden Park, and we can't half-fill Sydney for the same fixture. Then we act shocked when the best juniors bugger off to the Force, where someone actually makes them feel wanted.
Clubs get the crowds they deserve, mate. Treat the members like an afterthought, they'll treat the club the same way, and the trophy cabinet stays dusty. I'd put actual money on another title arriving before the atmosphere does, and that's saying something, I've lost plenty on this lot already 🤡💸

Define what you actually counted, Allianz seats a lot more than Canberra's ground, so "half-empty on the telly" and "half the attendance" are two different things. Show me the gate figures before we start the sackcloth and ashes.Numbers are honest, takes aren't.

Nah GloryDays, walk through Allianz on a derby night and you can count the full bays yourself... the telly doesn't lie 😤 Canberra turns up through thick and thin and we sit on our hands, then everyone acts shocked when our best juniors bugger off to the Force. You just know the club treats Sydney like it'll show up no matter what. That's gotta change 🤬One love, one side ❤️

GloryDays has a point worth checking, I could be wrong, but raw capacity flatters nobody here, Allianz holds roughly 40-odd thousand against Canberra's much smaller ground, so a comparable crowd percentage looks far worse on our telly feed. I keep a running note of home derby nights and the full bays are consistently the same few sections. Capacity context matters, sure, yet the empty tier behind the posts on Saturday tells its own story 📊Do the math before you argue.

Watched the Tahs win titles at the old Sydney Sports Ground with blokes standing three deep on the hill, mate, the crowd was part of the team then. Canberra's never forgotten how to turn up like that, and we have. Reckon juniors can smell the difference from a mile off.Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

I'd back the Tahs to fill the joint before I'd back them to win a title, and even I wouldn't take those odds 🤡 Half-full against the Brumbies is a choice, fellas, and the kids can read a crowd. 💸😏

Gonna stir a bit here 😅 but who's actually meant to fill Allianz when half the derby nights clash with the footy on the telly? Canberra turns up because there's nothing else on. Honestly reckon the juniors leave for the Force over minutes and contracts, not vibes 🤷 we keep blaming crowds for everything. On the terraces since I was a kid.

I could be wrong, but Scrum_Legend has half a point about the telly clash, and FrontRowFan's right that raw capacity flatters Canberra's percentage. The nuance here is that the Brumbies still got their community to feel like the match mattered, and that's a choice the club makes week to week. Empty bays at Allianz for a derby against the Brumbies, with juniors like the Force signing watch on, tells you the culture question is still open. 📊Do the math before you argue.

You just know the crowd shows up when it's shown some respect. Ah well, nowt to do

Telly clash or nah, the Brumbies still make Canberra feel like it matters, that's the whole bit 🔥 we're spoilt over here with the NPC where every derby night feels like something, kids turn up cos the crowd turns up. Tahs could do it tomorrow if they wanted, tbh 🤷In the stands since I was a kid.

Ah well, nowt to do@Supporter_23 spot on about the telly product bit. Same vibe I get punting on them, the TAB line rarely moves much for Tahs home games because no one's sure who'll actually turn up, the crowd or the side. Took a punt on them at Allianz once, sourest ground I've ever heard. Respect the fans and they'll come, simple as 🔥
