Twenty years on and I still get chills thinking about that 2014 title
Twenty years flies by, doesn't it. I was watching that final from my lounge in Whanganui and when Izzy went up over the Crusaders defence the whole street probably heard me roar 😄 Back in the day we'd queue for hours at Eden Park for a Bledisloe night, and that Homebush evening felt the same, one of those nights you knew you were watching something special. The young lot never saw how long that waiting took, but we did. Ah well, we'll see if they ever give us another one like it.

✓Goosebumps just reading that, brother 😭 I was packed into the back of a mate's place here in Gisborne, twelve of us crammed round one telly, and when Folau hung in the air like that the whole room went silent then EXPLODED 🙌 Still the loudest I've ever been in a lounge, no contest. What a result. Ah well, nowt to do but pour one for that night 🔥You don't abandon your own.

Mate, that silence before the roar, I know it well, we had the same thing happen at our place when he hung up there. Back in the day a title like that meant a night at the pub with the whole town talking, and even the Crusaders fans tipped their hats the next morning. Twenty years, and I still get a shiver thinking about it 😉Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

Nah I still cringe thinking about the massive hole in my head from yelling too loud. Still my favourite time to not have a chill, lah. 🤣😂Memes are analysis too.
