45 points against Bay of Plenty
GET IN 🔥 45 past Bay of Plenty after that two-point heartbreak vs Auckland, that's proper bounce-back territory tbh. Already chucked Tasman in my TAB multi for the 3rd, Waikato better watch out mate. Ah well, nowt to do but count the days 🙌

Interesting how quick everyone forgot they lost by 24 at Otago nine days before thrashing BoP 😭 Form says little week to week this season. Line should land around Waikato -9/-12 given it's at FMG Stadium Waikato and their home record usually holds. If early markets open shorter than -7, hold fire, because sharp money will push it wider closer to Saturday. My angle's simple: wait for the number instead of grabbing whatever's posted Thursday night. Waikato -8 or worse I'd still pay, but the genuine value might sit in Tasman +underdog margin bands, they've had scoring bursts twice lately, both games where the total blew out (42:28, then 45:26). Would hate to see Anyone who took Diehard's dare blind learn again what happened in Dunedin. Multi leg safe play is overs rather than picking an outright winner; keep stakes moderate since swings were huge all month in NPC. Watch injury reports Wednesday though. Much cheaper saving your funds if key forwards drop late. 💸The line moves — catch it.

That Otago loss still gives me nightmares tbh, but the Wellington and BoP wins at Trafalgar tell me this team is a different animal at home and somewhere in between on the road 😅 Waikato away on the 3rd is the real test - if the Mako front up physically like they did vs BoP, I'm backing them all day 💪 throwing NZ$20 on the upset at that line, seems generous 🔥One love, one side ❤️

Sorry if this is a daft one 😅 but maybe I'm wrong, how does everyone just trust the home wins when the away form has been all over the place? Otago was rough, and Waikato away is exactly where that gets tested. Still learning this season's form swings tbh 🤔Learn something new every day.

To TrueFan2009, nah not daft, that's exactly it 😅 Otago away showed who they are on the road, home wins don't travel 🤬One love, one side ❤️

Quick one (sorry if daft 😅), if home wins don't travel, why's everyone backing the Waikato trip? Otago away was 57 conceded, that scares me more than BoP excites me 🤔

Hang on though, is a bounce-back really a thing or just a nice story we tell ourselves? 😅 They thumped Wellington, then got 57 put on them in Dunedin, the "growth" went backwards that week. I'm with GloryDaysLegend, Waikato away scares me more than BoP at Trafalgar excites me 🤔 Thanks SamUltra for the coaching view though, just not sure I buy it 🙏Learning from the veterans, go easy 🙏

That Otago trip I was at LeeLegend, we'd turned over at half time and just fell apart 😱 younger side, away crowd, heads went. You don't abandon your own.

Fair call LeeLegend 😅 If they truly grew, how did Dunedin happen five days later? Maybe young sides just blow hot and cold, no magic bounce-back script? 🤷New here, soaking it up.

Old heads like me have watched a few 45-point banners go quiet the following week, so forgive me if I don't book the bus to Hamilton just yet 😄 these young fellas have shown both faces inside a fortnight, brilliant at Trafalgar Park, all at sea in Dunedin, and only the 3rd will tell us which one turns up. Watch as long as I have and you'll learn to hold your TAB money loose, lads.Remember when the grass was greener 🌱
