That Southland game cost me a NZ$30 leg in a four-leg multi, still sour about it. Won't happen this weekend - I'd already pulled the Harbour leg out the week before because 25:24 screamed trouble, and it nearly did. For the line at Manawatu, I'm not touching Canterbury off a single-digit win last week at that price. The value's in the margin bands rather than the head-to-head, take Canterbury by 11-15 territory if the line sits around 13-14, that's where my NZ$ lands. Five straight wins? Probably yes. Comfortable? That's the part I won't pay for 💸The line moves — catch it.

ha, RobBeliever's got a point buried in there - 25:24 over harbour and suddenly everyone's talking like this is a procession. 😄 i'll back him up on that much: the Wellington score flattered nobody's judgement except maybe the TAB bookies. millie, i'm with you on the five, mind. seen worse canterbury sides stumble to otago and die quietly. This lot have a bit of mongrel about them. but i've sat through enough october afternoons at Palmerston North to know manawatu at home is never a handout. back in the day the old heads used to say a travelling pack gets found out on heavy ground, and that last southland finish tells me this team hasn't quite switched off the drama yet. so yes from me, but keep the multi small like ultra says. my rule after 40-odd seasons of this: trust the team, never the margin. 😉
