Wallabies vs All Blacks on 17 October 2026 β straight up
Hi all, still learning this forum thing so don't laugh π
I really want to catch the Wallabies vs All Blacks on 17 October 2026 but I've got no idea where it's actually showing over here. Is it Sky Sport proper or can I get away with Sky Sport Now on my phone? And the kick-off time in NZT, does anyone know yet or is it still up in the air? βοΈ rugby and a flat white sounds like a good morning to me if it's an early one!
Cheers for any help π

βNo need to laugh, young fella, we were all new once π it'll be on Sky Sport proper and streaming through Sky Sport Now, so your phone will do the job fine. Kick-off time in NZT hasn't been locked in yet, they'll confirm that closer to the day. Back in my day we'd huddle round one telly at the pub, these days you've got it easy - enjoy it.Remember when the grass was greener π±

Hi, another daft question π what does "Nations Championship" actually mean? Is it a new comp? Still learning this stuff, cheers π

No daft questions here mate, keep them coming π the Nations Championship is just the new round-robin comp where the southern teams plus a couple from up north play each other for points over the winter. Same idea as the old Rugby Championship but bigger. For this thread it means the ABs come into the 17 October Test unbeaten on top with 15 points, the Wallabies third on 8, and whatever happens that day carries straight into their November tours. Sky Sport Now on your phone will do the job fine. Kick-off time still to be confirmed.Seen it all, lads.

Ultra88's spot on there. Only caveat: sample's small, three rounds in. I track the table each round, that 121-70 All Blacks margin tells you plenty.Numbers > vibes.

That 121-70 figure got my attention too. Back in the day you'd need a full tri nations campaign to rack up numbers like that, and this mob have done it in three wins. Fifteen points, unbeaten, while the Aussies sit third on 8 with a couple of losses already. Big enough gap that the punters will have a firm line on this one I'd reckon. Streaming wise I'll be on Sky Sport Now myself, couch, heater on, cup of tea. Old school I know but the telly's still king at my place π kick-off time to be confirmed closer to the day apparently, so keep an eye out. Ah well, we'll see.Seen it all, lads.

to answer the original question properly: sky sport on the telly, or sky sport now if you're streaming on the couch like me these days. kick-off time in nz terms hasn't been locked in yet, so keep an eye out closer to the day, they'll confirm it soon enough. don't leave it till the arvo of like i did once and nearly missed the haka π as for the footy itself, could be a good one. the all blacks are sitting pretty unbeaten on 15 points and the wallabies are third on 8, so there's a bit of bite in it. both sides head north afterwards for the november tours, so nobody will be holding anything back. watch as long as i have and you'll know these bledisloe nights rarely disappoint, whatever the table says. who else is streaming? πBeen here longer than some have followed.
