Can Otago bring the 57-point firepower home to face Auckland?
FINALLY an actual big one at Forsyth Barr π Been waiting for this since the Tasman game, 57 points at home then 50 down at Counties Manukau, that was proper fireworks π₯
Yeah the Harbour game stung, 21:32 was hard to watch tbh. But which Otago side turns up? The one that ran Tasman ragged or the one that went missing up north? We just know this ground lifts them, the boys feed off that crowd. Auckland coming on 1 October, get in, cant wait π€¬πͺ Backing them all day!

βFifty seven at home then fifty away, Harbour made us look like we'd never played the game before π€ Typical Otago tbh, highest highs and then that stumble. Auckland fans swanning in here already, mate you lot have copped worse at Forsyth Barr than 57 points π₯ Which side shows up? The one that dismantled Tasman, fingers crossed πHeart with the team, head on pause.

Which side shows up is exactly what the line's asking, Tab had Auckland giving a start I reckon value's on Otago at home. Did my head in at Harbour, 21:32 killed my multi πBankroll discipline wins.

This team flips form faster than I flip through Sky channels π€£ My expectation for the 1st: 57 points and a couch that survives the night πΏπHold my pint.

TouchlineLoyal backing Otago at home, that's the tell π every time someone swears the line's generous they end up crying about a lost multi. Funny thing is we've actually been better away this spring, 50 at Counties Manukau then that 21:32 snoozefest at North Harbour, while the 57 only came once at Forsyth Barr. So which Otago side turns up? Coin toss, mate, and you're betting on a coin π€‘πͺHere to argue, not to nod along.

Been watching Otago flip like this since the amateur days, seen worse. Harbour was a bad night at the office, I'd back them at Forsyth Barr πBeen here longer than some have followed.

Funny how the 57 only showed up at home once and we still lost at Harbour a week later π€‘ Which Otago rocks up Thursday, nobody knows, least of all them πAny stat can be bent.

Reminds me of the old Colin Meads line, anyone can win on their day, the trick is turning up on the right day. I've sat through enough Dunedin nor'westers watching Otago flip from brilliant to baffled in a week, and Harbour proved expectations don't mean much. Auckland will come down here ready for a scrap. We'll know which side showed up by the first twenty, eh.
