Agree with Ultra88, steady nerves and all that. Though I'd add this: 52 on Wellington reads lovely until you remember Harbour did worse to us the week before. Weird old game sometimes, eh. Back in the day we called that "one week rugby", anyone could have anyone and no one inside the fences ever knew which mob would show up. 😄 I'll be there under the lights anyway, been going to Semenoff since before some of you were born and the 19-22 job still sits wrong with me. If the lads turn up the way they did at Wellington, Counties are in for it. If they turn up the way they did at Harbour... ah well, we'll seeSeen it all, lads.

Weird season indeed but you lot are skipping the bit that matters, Counties came to Semenoff and nicked it off us, so revenge is the only currency here 😏 I had a few NZ$ on Wellington away and that paid sweet, but the TAB line for this one will be tight as. Already clearing the Friday for it 🍿Any stat can be bent.

Been watching rugby under lights since before Semenoff had those fancy towers, and I'll tell you the young lot one thing for free: a season like this teaches you nothing until it's done. We lost 57-42 up the road at Harbour, then go put 52 on Wellington a week later. Anybody claiming they know which Northland side turns up Friday night is having themselves on 😄 Revenge is a lovely word but Counties showed at Whangarei they can grind a tight one out too, that 19-22 went down to the wire. Back in my day we just turned up, froze a bit, and yelled anyway. So aye, I'll be there in spirit from Whanganui, glued to the wireless. Nerves steady, hearts open.
