FINALLY a proper clash to get behind 🔥 55:19 over Southland then grinding Auckland down 28:12, back to back at Stadium Taranaki, and our lot never make it easy but those two games had me roaring at the screen tbh 😤🏉
Already checking buses to New Plymouth for the 4th. Wellington are gonna come in with a plan after seeing that, so anyone thinking it's a walkover needs their head read lol. Through thick and thin though - who's making the trip?? 🙋♂️

Bloody tempting after two wins like that, but remember they got pipped at Manawatu a week before the Auckland game, TAB knows it too, so the line on Wellington will be tight, no free money there. My play is probably Taranaki at home with the start rather than straight head-to-head, and keep the odd try scorer out of the multi till teams drop. Would've loaded up last week and landed nice though, hard to argue with the form 🔥Bankroll discipline wins.

Love how everyone forgot Manawatu happened 😂 one narrow loss away in Palmy and suddenly the whole thread's booking buses like it's a coronation. StatHead's right that the TAB won't gift anything on the Wellington line, but two home wins at Stadium Taranaki in a fortnight? I'll believe the hype when Hawke's Bay doesn't trip them up first. RobBeliever's got a fair point about Manawatu, mind you, one-point loss down in Palmy and suddenly everyone's anointed them. Still, back in my day we learned never to trust a side after two good home wins until they've done it on the road, so Hawke's Bay will tell us plenty. That said, seen worse reasons for a trip to New Plymouth; I'll be there on the 4th, thermos and all 😉Been here longer than some have followed.

Half this thread was tipping Manawatu away as a banker a fortnight ago and look how that went 😂 I've already lobbed a cheeky multi on Taranaki with the TAB, Hawke's Bay first though - everyone skipping straight to Wellington is classic bus tourist behaviour 🤡 anyone actually made the trip from Dunedin for it?Any stat can be bent.
