How are we all going lads, long week but Saturday's nearly here ππ₯ Sausage sizzle sorted on my end, bought a big bag of snags today and the gas bottle's full, so bring ya gold coin and ya appetites πͺ Picnic spot by the north car park from 1pm sharp, don't be like Dave last time showing up halfway through the first half ah well, nowt to do. Gonna be a beauty, see ya all there π₯

βha, poor dave, halfway through again. Some things never change mate π back in the day we used to do these tailgates off the back of a ute with no gas bottle at all, just hope the wind died down enough to light the thing. seen worse sizzles than that and enjoyed every one. i'll be there from 1pm with the folding chair and a jumper, per your instructions. Whangarei wind never misses, true that. got my gold coin ready for the snags, mean effort sorting the gas out. see you all saturday lads, good to have a proper cuppa and a catch-up before kick-off like the old nights πSeen it all, trust me.

New to the club threads so still learning this stuff, but I'm keen to chip in for a snag or two π Metric_nerd's thermos idea sounds spot on. A hot cuppa in that wind is basically survival gear, my nan always reckons WhangΔrei breeze could freeze ya before kick-off π₯Ά I'll bring my own chair and jumper from 1pm, first tailgate so don't laugh if I ask daft questions πDaft questions are my specialty.
