Right, lads. Our scrum keeps getting shoved backwards
Would solve half our problems overnight, that fella. Word is he's getting restless down in Canterbury, not getting the minutes he reckons he deserves, and you can see why when our scrum gets folded in half every second week. Word among the boys at work is he'd be keen on a fresh start somewhere he's actually the first name on the team sheet.
Obviously pure speculation, don't go tipping your TAB account on it. But imagine him packing down beside the lads at Forsyth Barr with a full preseason under him. Sweet as, frankly. Anyone else heard anything or is my mate talking out his hat again? 😏

Nick's got a point about receipts, but the age and the logjam down at Canterbury both cut against us. A tighthead that far into his career wants minutes, and the Crusaders' bench doesn't grow them. Small sample though, our scrum numbers this season; two bad games at the 'Barr don't scream desperation yet. If the cap allows it and he's genuinely restless, I'd say a one-year deal is worth a punt, hard out. 📊

Nick and Fix are talking sense here. I'd want to see something more concrete than Chloe's cousin's mate before we plan the parade. That said, I sat behind the posts at the 'Barr last month and watched our tighthead get walked backwards twice in the first ten minutes, so if the man is genuinely restless, sharpen the pencil. What's the actual mechanism though? Canterbury just let him walk, or are we paying a transfer fee nobody's mentioned yet?Numbers are honest, takes aren't.

I've seen this movie before, mind, couple of seasons back everyone was sure a certain Crusaders forward was southern-bound, right up till he re-signed the day after the semi. Seen worse rumours die than this one 😉 if he does turn up at the 'Barr I'll be stoked, but time will tell, eh.Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.
