That form line is wild - 57 against Tasman then 50 on Counties Manukau, and then they go and stumble at North Harbour?? Classic Otago tbh, our lot never make it easy π
But if they turn up with that attacking game at Forsyth Barr on the 1st, it's gonna be fireworks. Auckland travelling south is always spicy, and I remember being at a Dunedin clash years back where the crowd nearly lifted the roof off - want that again SO bad π

That Harbour loss has saved punters a bit of money actually, the line would've been silly after two 50-burgers. Otago at home I'd still expect them favoured around a touchdown, and Auckland away in Dunedin is never a gimme. Had a NZ$20 multi on Otago -10 last week that didn't land thanks to Harbour π, this one feels more honest value though π₯Value over a big price πΈ

Maybe I'm wrong but isn't booking a Wellington trip for the weekend Auckland play Otago a bit ambitious?? π They got smacked at North Harbour last week so I'd hold the fireworks talk till after kickoff honestly. Chloe's point about the line makes sense to me though. After two big scores everyone probably would've tipped Otago silly. Go easy on me here, I'm still learning all this: does playing at Forsyth Barr actually give them much of an edge, or is Auckland just the sort of team that travels well? π€π

I was at Eden Park the night Auckland got turned over by a side everyone'd written off, and I've seen enough of these fixtures since the amateur days to know form lines are there to be laughed at. Watch as long as I have and you'll get it: the lads who put 50 on Counties can absolutely come out flat the next week, Hawke's Bay proved that already. OldSchool, mate, three losses in four is what it is, but a Thursday night under the roof with Auckland in town? Seen worse bets.
