FINALLY the footy's back 🔥 Nine losses and I'm STILL backing them all day, that's just what we do in this country. Our lot never make it easy tbh, LLWLW form is giving me heartburn but that last W has me believing 😤 who's jumping on the wagon with me?? 🙌💪

Funniest part of that last message is the idea that any of us look at the for-and-against before our heart makes the call 😄 seventy-odd years of watching footy and I still can't tell you why I back a side that's nine down in the loss column. RobbedAgainMerchant has a point about the wallet, mind. I put NZ$20 on them each fortnight more out of ritual than hope, lost enough over the decades to fund a decent boat by now. But that last W before the break had something the earlier wins didn't: the young lot actually looked like they wanted the ball in the last ten minutes. Back in my day that counted for more than any points differential, and the Dunedin faithful deserve a side that finishes strong. LLWLW doesn't shout surge, I'll grant you, but it does shout "not dead yet". Count me in, cautiously and with a sore heart, as always 😉Remember when the grass was greener 🌱
