From Waikato Stadium nights to the 2012-13 back-to-back
i still remember the night we finally did it in 2012. Stood in the lounge with a couple of mates, oldest of us 45, all of us roaring like teenagers when the whistle went 😄 and then sonny bill's offload in the 13 final... watch as long as i have and you'll get it, that pass was pure gold. seen worse finals nights from a Dunedin couch, i can tell you. keen to hear your favourites, lads 😉

✓Was flatting in Hamilton that year, mate, watched the 13 final crammed round a dodgy telly with the whole flat 🙌 that offload... I yelled so loud the neighbour banged the wall 😂 goosebumps just thinking about it, what a time to be alive 🔥💪One love, one side ❤️

Funny you both mention that offload. I was on the tractor route back from Taupo that night, had the radio going, nearly put her in a ditch when the whistle went 😄 what got me though was the 2012 run itself, nobody gave us a snowball's chance early on and we just quietly went about it. Back in the day at Rugby Park we'd freeze through provincial games dreaming of nights like that. Still stoked thinking about it, chaps 😉Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

SeenItAll nailed it, that 2012 side just went about their work with no fuss, and I could be wrong, but this current mob has a bit of that same quiet swagger, they just carry more star power. Hard to compare eras fairly, the game's changed heaps since, but the 12-13 boys set the standard every Chiefs team since gets measured against 📊 If this lot go back-to-back like that crew did, I'll happily eat my words about star power mattering.Do the math before you argue.
