From Carisbrook to Forsyth Barr
I remember heading down to the Brook in '99 with a flask of soup and a mates' Toyota full of Dunedin lads, and the noise when we put the Crusaders to the sword, honestly the ground fair shook. Back in the day they called it the House of Pain for good reason, and the young lot never saw that. Dickison's try in the 2015 final runs it close though, I was yelling so hard I woke the neighbours 😉

✓Ha, soup in a flask at the Brook, that's proper old school 🔥 I was only a young fella in '99 but my old man had me up on his shoulders when the noise went up, swear the stands were literally bouncing 😱 hard out nothing like it since. Dickison's try in 2015 still gives me chills but the Brook roar is the thing the new ground never quite copies ah well, nowt to do 💪🙌You don't abandon your own.

the old man took me to the Brook as a kid, pies were two bucks and the terrace heaved like a sea. never heard Forsyth Barr make that sort of noise, eh 😉Been here longer than some have followed.

Fair dinkum, nothing at Forsyth Barr touches the old Brook roar. That '99 side had hate in their bellies; these boys need to earn that sort of fear first. 📊Numbers > vibes.
