FINALLY footy back at Forsyth Barr, been hanging out for it all week 🔥 that LLWLW stretch does my head in ah, one week heroes next week they leak like a sieve. But when the good version turns up, whole ground gets up. What a result it'd be if they stack a few wins now. Get in lads 💪🙌

Fortress talk is rich when they're leaking nearly a hundred points more than they've scored, but I'll take the over on chaos either way. Put NZ$20 on the TAB midweek for them at the line and it's already shifted half a point against them, market knows the sieve version looms. Honestly the only play I trust here is a small same-game multi: Highlanders head-to-head if the crowd gets up early, plus a longshot first try scorer. Landed last week, didn't the week before. Bankroll says keep it small until they string two wins together 😭🔥The line moves — catch it.

MatchdayTillIDie has the gist of it I reckon - the crowd does half the work in Dunedin. I remember back in my day standing on the old terraces when it was all standing room and southerly straight off the refuse, and this ground could genuinely frighten teams coming down for the trip. Roof's comfy now but the noise still counts. That said, seen as long as I have and you'll get it, a fortress needs a defence worth guarding, and that points tally against us says the sieves are doing more shifts than the heroes. Chloe's not wrong about the line drifting, though I'd never put NZ$20 on my own lot, bad luck 🤣 The good version shows up when the forwards decide to front, simple as that. Seen worse sides than this one turn it around. She'll be right if they pick the right version on Saturday. 😉Been here longer than some have followed.

UnderdogNightmare, you've jogged my memory there. Stood on the old terraces myself back in the day when the southerly came howling in and the visiting sides looked like they wanted the bus back early. I'll back the crowd lifting them, but the caveat is that leaky defence; 424 points against doesn't care how loud the ground is. Seen worse sides than this turn it around though, so I'm not writing off a fortress just yet 😉

Funny thing about expectations, they'll slice your finger quicker than a blunt bayonet 😄 I sat on those old Logan Park terraces watching sides get hammered for years, then turn up the next week and knock over a reds team nobody gave them a hope against. This lot remind me of that - you never know which version walks out till kickoff. Maybe the fortress finds them again, maybe Amy's NZ$20 is safe.
