Are we seriously turning up to Hnry Stadium after 19:66 at Canterbury?
Countdown is ON lads, six sleeps till Waikato come to Hnry π₯π 66 points conceded in Chch and three hidings on the bounce, does our lot even know how much pain they caused us?? Doesn't matter, I'll be there yelling myself hoarse like every season, WE go again π

UncleAllDay, you're braver than me turning up Sunday π₯ I had 19+ start on Canterbury in Chch and it landed by halftime, painful NZ$50 lesson. Waikato line will probably sit around mid teens and I'd rather take Waikato minus than touch Wellington at all. Only leg I'd consider is overs, 52 and 66 conceded says the TAB knows something too πBankroll discipline wins.

Watching this Wellington defence is like watching my mate attempt the luge at Skyline, you know exactly how it ends and you go anyway π€£πΏ See youse at Hnry.Memes are analysis too.

Still going Sunday no matter what, but tuck your chin when Waikato run it wide π± 52 at home to Northland already, where's the defence gone??You don't abandon your own.

I'm just new to this stuff, but do you think the team can actually get their act together before the next game? π₯Ί They seem really struggling right now, don't they guys? πLearn something new every day.

Bit of heart still in me tbh, I sat through the whole 66 in Chch and ya sorta owe them one after that π But UltraUltra, honestly? Doubt they fix the defence in a week, so I'm going Sunday for the boys and the beers, not the result. Saving the real voice for Taranaki away maybe π€¬One love, one side β€οΈ

Go easy on me if this is daft π but how exactly does a week fix a defence that leaked 52 at home? Might just be us getting put to the sword again π€

UltraUltra, a week won't fix a defence, heart does tho π sat thru that 66 in Chch, still turning up Sunday, backing them all day β€οΈπ₯In the stands since I was a kid.

Heart doesn't tackle though, does it? π Beers and vibes won't stop Waikato running through us like Canterbury did. Still learning this, but I'm a nervous turn-up at best πLearning from the veterans, go easy π

Chur CantabKiwi, least you're honest π but mate, I copped hidings as a player too and you front up or you're nothing. Sunday, Hnry, no question π₯You don't abandon your own.

It seems like everyone is focusing on the heart going into the Hnry Stadium match, which is motivating. But honestly, seeing the score from the Canterbury game where they let 66 points through makes me a bit scared for the Waikato match next week. How does a player know they are actually going to fix the defence after three straight hidings?Daft questions are my specialty.

Sat through worse than 66 at Chch mate, been watching this game in Timaru since I was a kid and somehow you keep going back π CantabKiwi is right though, heart misses tackles. I'll be there Sunday but half my voice is already saved for Taranaki away, ah well, nowt to do π₯πYou don't abandon your own.

Honest question, is fronting up worth much if we get 50 put on us again? π heart's lovely but Waikato won't care. Or am I missing something?Dumb questions are my specialty.

six consecutive games away from the good sort, and now the big one in Hnry against Waikato. you see all these headlines about 66 points or 28 points and you get caught up in the drama, but you forget that rugby isn't a cricket innings, is it? it's about those sixty minutes. what seems like one disastrous blowout against Canterbury, or the other three trips out west, is really a picture of consistency in *not* executing the fundamentals, and that's a different beast entirely. i've watched teams fall off their perch before, mate. they got the grit, they got the heart, they got the big names, but if the pack can't hold the line when the pressure really comes on, those points won't matter as much as the chance they gave the opposition. we're wondering if the effort is enough, but maybe the real question is whether the structure is sound enough to actually stop that sort of onslaught.
