Twenty years on and I still get chills watching that 2005 Bledisloe
i remember that night like it was yesterday. Twenty years back, jammed up in the old stand at eden park, the whole terraces roaring the haka back at the big screen when the boys were out in the tunnel. chills down the spine even now thinking about it. back in the day we stood the whole match too, none of these seats 😄 ah well, we'll see

✓Chills reading that mate 😭 I was only a kid on the couch in Nelson but my old man had the telly up full and we both roared the haka back, neighbours probably thought we were mad 🔥 whole street going off after... proper nights those were, sweet as memories tbh 🙌You don't abandon your own.

Wonder if the kids today get that off the couch 🤔You don't abandon your own.

was in the old members stand that night, mate - the ground literally shaking with the haka. watch as long as I have and you'll get it: nothing at the new park quite hits like that 😉Been here longer than some have followed.

I could be wrong, but that 2005 side had a settled spine you could name in your sleep, whereas this lot are still finding their combinations. The current boys have the skill set and the pace, no question, what they're missing is that ferocious certainty the old crowd carried into every Test. Give them a couple of seasons together and we might get a proper comparison instead of a nostalgia contest 😊📊Do the math before you argue.
