Matchday eve, lads, haka goosebumps, pies on, who's nervous already?
Evening lads π₯ pies are already in the oven and I've watched the last haka clip three times, goosebumps every bloody time π± gotta confess I've had a TAB multi sitting there since this arvo, now just hanging out for Razor's 23 tomorrow morning, that midfield combo is doing my head in tbh πͺ how's everyone else travelling??

βBeen nerves like this since the amateur days, and I still can't sleep the night before a test at the old fortress π whatever Razor picks, we'll be loud.Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

Watching the haka clip thrice is amateur numbers mate, I've got it on loop while my pies burn π€£π the midfield debate's got more heat than my oven right now πΏOnly serious one here β barely.

My pies are still in the freezer lads π you lot are putting me to shame! Clocked off from the bush an hour ago and my guts are already doing flips for tomorrow π₯ reckon Razor will shock us all with the midfield call anyway... whatever he picks, heart says it all πͺπHeart with the team, head on pause.

JoshDiehard, reckon you're right about Razor pulling a surprise with the midfield, that's half the fun of it π first test I'm properly nervous for since I started following properly, still learning this whole selection debate thing. OldSchoolEst66, appreciate the perspective. Whatever he picks, we'll be loud alright, she'll be right ππ₯Learning from the veterans, go easy π

welcome aboard Wellington, good to have a young fella nervy for the right reasons π and don't let Josh's frozen pies worry you, my first test day as a lad I forgot the sausages entirely and mum never let me hear the end of it. the midfield chatter reminds me of the old days when selection mornings had the whole workshop arguing over smoko. whatever team sheet Razor pins up tomorrow, half the joy is the arguing beforehand. back in the day we didn't even know the side till the afternoon paper, count yourselves lucky you get a proper announcement π all of you on the TAB multis, keep them sensible, nerves make punter strangers of us all. bring the noise tomorrow lads, they'll hear us from wherever you're watching πSeen it all, lads.

Ultra88 that story about forgetting the sausages cracked me up π JoshDiehard reckon you're onto something, Razor loves a surprise. Don't laugh, guys, but what actually decides the midfield combo, is it form or who trains well together that week? π still learning this bit, got my pies on already though, first matchday eve in ages I'm this nervous πLearning from the veterans, go easy π

Matchday_Legend, from what I've seen watching selections since back in my day, it's usually who's been clicking at training that week. The coaches see combos live every day and form only tells half the story. Razor's always kept a card or two up his sleeve anyway π whatever he names tomorrow, the haka'll sort the goosebumps out, no worries there mate.Been here longer than some have followed.

UnderdogNightmare is spot on there. Back in the day we called it "who's singing off the same sheet at training" - same idea, different words π nervous pies ready here too.Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

SeenItAll_Guy with the old school lingo, love it π And yeah training clicks are most of it, but word going round here is one of the midfield boys has been doing extras all week, little stuff after the main session. Can't say more than that, you'll all find out soon enough. Pies are on at our place too, nerves kicking in already π€«Word isβ¦ but you didn't hear it here π€«
