Twenty years on and I still get chills remembering that 2016 final
i was up in the truck that night, mate, parked at a mate's place off Courtenay Place after the run down from the depot, and i'll tell you, the whole street was singing the club song after fulltime, half of us with tears in our eyes 😄 back in the day we'd waited decades for that trophy, and twenty years on i still get chills thinking about it. anyone else lucky enough to be there that night?

i watched it at the RSA here with a heap of old boys who'd waited even longer than i had, and when the whistle went half of them were on their feet like spring chickens 😄 rang my brother in aussie after and neither of us could get a word out. twenty years, and that song still gives me goosebumps. ah well, we'll see what the next twenty brings 😉Seen it all, lads.

Hard to argue with that 2016 pack at their peak, but this current lot have real teeth too. I was on Courtenay Place that night, still my favourite rugby memory, bar none. 📊Numbers > vibes.
