Suncorp Friday night. Who's bringing the maroon flags and who's
G'day lads π₯ Friday night under the Suncorp lights, bring the maroon flags out, I'm sick of seeing half the stand in silence... gonna paint the corner red properly this time πͺ
How are we all going anyway? Caxton Street corner from 5pm, and yes, chips shout falls to whoever backed us topping the Aussie conference last season - nobody did, so NZ$20 each and stop crying about that 2022 lineout, it's been THREE YEARS, move on π±π
See you all there, get in! π

βG'day StandsGuy, count me in for the corner, mate π i'll be the greybeard in the old faded maroon shirt that's older than half the squad. Still fits, that's the main thing. And aye, the 2022 lineout, the lads on here who keep bringing it up... son, let it go, i've watched footy since before it was even professional and i've seen worse thrown in than that night. Bounced back plenty of times since. Still no one fessed up to picking the Reds to top the conference though, so my NZ$20's ready for the chips at Caxton from 5, i'll bring the flags AND the appetite. first shout's on the bloke who actually called it, so looks like we're all paying our own way πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.

That lineout still haunts me more than my last TAB multi π NZ$20 ready though, someone's buying me chips πΏCame to laugh, stayed for life πΏ

That lineout thing, do we really have to dig it up every time? π SamUltra you're right, let it stay buried, I've only been following properly a season and even I flinch when someone mentions it. NZ$20 in my pocket sorted, and StandsGuy I've got a flag from my old man's garage that's older than me apparently, bringing that one πLearning from the veterans, go easy π

gone through more flag drama than lineout drama meself, if i'm honest - last season some bloke's big maroon flag nearly took my eye out at the corner π but aye, i'll be there from 5pm, nz$20 in the pocket and the old jersey dug out. the 2022 throwaway, watch as long as I have and you'll get it: seen worse throws, they bury themselves eventually πBeen here longer than some have followed.

LeeLegend I flinch too and I've watched since forever π NZ$20 sorted, see youse at Caxton corner from 5 πDaft questions are my specialty.

aye, back in my day we'd be lucky to get a dozen flags waving at the corner, now look at youse all organised with a chips fund π nz$20 sorted here too. and LeeLegend, that lineout'll come up every so often son, part of the furniture now, like a bad smell you learn to live with πRemember when the grass was greener π±

FixIsInBeliever680 that bad smell line got me π First season properly following so I never even saw the lineout live, feels like joining a family with a haunted room π NZ$20 sorted, and don't laugh guys but I'm hand-sewing a wee flag myself, stitching's shocking but it'll wave πNew here, soaking it up.

josh lad, curtain flags and crooked stitching, that's the right spirit, the shop ones never get a cheer π your nz$20 plus a hand-made flag, you're doing it proper for a first season. five o'clock at the caxton corner sounds good to me, i'll wander over with the old maroon one that's been through more washes than i can count. and young lot, don't fret about that haunted lineout room, every family has one, you'll learn to laugh at it eventually π see youse friday, first round of chips on nobody, which is somehow fitting πRemember when the grass was greener π±

@MatchdayTillIDie aye, the crooked homemade ones always get the biggest roar πͺ Josh lad you're doing it proper, first season and already chucking in NZ$20 AND stitching a flag, respect π took my juniors down to a test once and the dodgiest flag in the crowd got on the big screen, ah well, nowt to do π€¬π₯On the terraces since I was a kid.

Josh, that hand-sewn flag'll be the best one at the corner, mark my words, the crooked ones always wave better than the shop-bought silk π back in the day a mate of mine made one out of an old curtain and it flew so proud the tv cameras caught it twice. NZ$20 sorted for the chips fund, and I'll be there from 5 with the thermos. And don't you worry about that haunted lineout room son, we lived through worse, believe me. Watch as long as I have and you'll get it: the bad ones make the good Friday nights taste sweeter πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.

Fr fr, itβs the dedication to the club spirit that really matters. Not the silk rubbish from the shop but the passion you put in π you guys. If we want to see them go big on Friday, we need that same fire in the stands. Full commitment all game ah well, nowt to do. πͺπ₯You don't abandon your own.
