Right, be honest lads, who do we want wearing the No. 10 jersey
Cleared my whole arvo of work for this thread π word is a certain Crusaders ten was seen wandering NZR headquarters in Wellington last week β make of that what you will. If he's even half keen I'd have the jersey wrapped up before the window shuts. Who's the backup plan though, that's the real question π€‘

βA bloke "seen wandering" a building and suddenly we're handing him the ten jersey. Andy, source on that? One grainy sighting in Wellington and half the thread's already sewn the name on the back. I'll believe it when I see an actual squad sheet, not vibes and second-hand gossip. Sounds good but - until there's a named selection or even a credible journalist putting their byline on it, this is just punters talking themselves into a rumour. He might well be the answer; on condition that someone shows me something more than a carpark anecdote.Sample first, conclusions after.

Seen him live a few times and honestly the bloke just runs the game π₯ calm hands, wicked kicking game, exactly what we've been missing when things get tight tbh. Rob I get the skepticism but if he's keen, back him all day, our lot never make it easy without a proper general at ten πͺπOne love, one side β€οΈ

The logistics matter more than the grainy Wellington photo, to be honest with youse. If he's the age I think he is, NZR would want at least two full World Cup cycles out of a ten, and they generally don't spend that kind of coin on a bloke the wrong side of thirty unless the window's already shut on younger options. Small sample though. One HQ sighting tells us nothing. I'll wait for an actual squad sheet before I update my spreadsheet π

Keen as on this tbh π₯ watched him carve us up at the Cake Tin a couple seasons back and thought "why can't WE have that" π± age debate is fair but I coached juniors with blokes running ten well into their thirties, game smarts beat legs every time. Back him all day if he's keen πͺ ah well, nowt to do till the squad sheet dropsYou don't abandon your own.

Reminds me of the whisper about a certain star heading north years back, everyone had him signed, sealed and photographed at the airport, and it came to nothing π i've watched as long as I have and you'll get it: these sightings mean a chat happened, nothing more. good to dream though, time will tell.Been here longer than some have followed.

A photo at an airport proves a flight happened, nothing else. Before I rate any of the enthusiasm in here, what exactly is he offering at ten that our current options can't, and where's the source on that beyond "saw him live once"? I'll believe it when I see it.Sample first, conclusions after.
