βi'll be there wrapped up like an onion, mate, seen worse days at rugby park than any southerly they can throw at us π young fella getting a run-on start would be lovely, remember my own first one back in the amateur days, knees knocked for a week. ah well, we'll seeSeen it all, lads.

π Metric_nerd "wrapped up like an onion" has me crying, that's exactly my Saturday plan except mine has a couple of layers missing after the last club trip. Bus crew's already arguing about whether the young fella scores or gets sin binned inside ten πΏ either way I'm bringing the thermos and zero dignity. See youse down there πHold my pint.

π John mate leave some layers for Saturday, the southerly won't care about your sore head π€¬ιζ₯. Young fella starting means I'm there, mean! Seen plenty of first-run-on nerves at Rugby Park myself πͺπ₯

Bus down from the north island for this one, haven't missed a christchurch trip since the amateur days and i'm not starting now π saw the young fella at training through the fence on thursday, looked calm as anything, no first-run nerves that I could see. Southerly's just part of the deal down there, we'll cope.Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

OldSchool, good on you for making the trip again, we need a few of us greyheads down there to show the young lot how it's done π funny thing, I watched a first-run-on start at Rugby Park years back and the bloke was sick in the gutter beforehand, then played out of his skin. Nerves don't always show through the fence. I'll be there Saturday, thermos and a good coat, the southerly can blow all it likes. Give the young fella a clap when he runs on, eh? Make it loud enough he remembers it. See you all at the ground π΄β«Remember when the grass was greener π±
