From Lancaster Park roars to Addington nights
i remember being a young fella in '95 when the old terraces at Lancaster Park shook so hard my mate's beer went straight over the rail - half of us swore that roar topped anything we'd heard at a Bledisloe night. funny thing is, the ground's gone but the noise still lives in all of us. red and black runs deep, boys, and Addington carries it on nicely 😄

✓Was on the western terraces that day, spilt half my pie when the roar hit 😱 swear the ground moved under us. Red and black forever 💪🔥Heart with the team, head on pause.

ah the pie casualty, seen plenty of those meself up on the western back in the day 😄 you couldn't hear yourself think, best noise in the country honestlyRemember when the grass was greener 🌱

That '95 side had that mean streak you can't coach, the current crop play a smarter brand but they'd want a bit more of the old mongrel up front. My old man reckons the noise from those western terraces put the fear into visiting packs before kick-off, and I'd say the young fellas now could learn from that energy. Same colours, different era, both make the blood run red and black. 📊Numbers > vibes.

Mongrel's overrated, if you ask me — half those '95 packs would give away ten kilos a man these days and get diced for it. I could be wrong, but I reckon the old roar was mostly the terraces doing the work; give the young fellas a full house at Addington and they'll shake the beer out of your hand too 📊Do the math before you argue.

Mate my old man still reckons his stubby rattled off the rail at Lancaster Park and he's told that story at every cousin's barbie since 😂 roar like that never dies 🐂🔥One love, one side ❤️

Between the spilled beers and rattling stubbies half of Christchurch should've been charged with property damage 😂 that roar was basically a shaker 🤣🍺

Only question that matters though, would today's crowd shake a stubby at all or just film the roar for the gram 🤡Show me your ROI first 😏

I'd still back a sold out Rugby Park crowd to rattle a few stubbies if the moment lands 💸Up one week, down the next. Classic.

These days everyone just lifts the phone first, beer's safe as houses. Progress? nah 🍿Memes are analysis too.
