McLean Park faithful, matchday brew-up
Afternoon lads π₯ How are we all? Bus down from BOP is booked, ribs on the BBQ from midday and I'm bringing a pie crate for the terrace crew π Wind's gonna be howling off the coast so I'm yelling myself hoarse at the corner flag... whoever loses that bet shouts the flat whites, and I don't plan on paying πͺ

βha, hoarse by halftime more like, that napier wind has swallowed plenty of terraces over the years π i'll sort the flat white shout if the corner flag bet goes wrong, seen worse.Seen it all, trust me.

Hats off (literally) Ultra, wear the ugly one with the chin strap π I'm on flag duty too, hoarse by halftime guaranteed π₯πIn the stands since I was a kid.

Ha, UncleAllDay got me at chin strap π Newbie here but I'll bring a pie too, is that rude or welcome? π π

Lucy more pies is never rude mate π I'm new here too, brought a pie crate last home game and it vanished in ten minutes πNew here, soaking it up.

welcome aboard lucy and josh, pies from newbies taste extra sweet π i'll put my hand up for the corner flag bets. Seen that napier wind strip a hat off a bloke mid-haka salute once, and i've been watching footy at mclean park longer than i care to admit. my money's on the wind winning whatever line we settle on, so maybe loser shouts the flat whites AND holds everyone's hats. sidestep, save me a rib and one of those pies, i'll be up the front of the terrace early doors with the thermos and my voice intact... for the first twenty minutes anyway πBeen here longer than some have followed.

Pies from newbies taste extra sweet is so true π That wind stole my beanie at the corner flag once, so hats with straps are a must. Anyone else freezing their toes off by half time? π₯ΆLearn something new every day.

My old man used to say you could read the McLean Park wind by the smell of the pie cart before kick-off, same sea-breeze trick, and it holds π I'll shout the first round of flat whites if the corner flag stays put past ten minutes, but I've watched footy there since the amateur days and that flag's fallen every time the southerly turns. Straps on your hats, young fellas πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.

SeenItAll, your old man's pie-cart trick is gold. Reckon I'll trust it over any forecast π Count me in on the corner flag bet, and I'll keep the flat whites warm either way.Remember when the grass was greener π±
