McLean Park on a cold Saturday, no feeling in the world beats it
i was in the embankment that night, soaked right through and hoarse by the last scrum. You could feel the whole stand holding its breath together. back in my day we used to take the log of wood for granted, but 2020 against the magpies brought it all flooding back. young lot in here won't know what a cold napier saturday does to your bones, eh 😉 sweet as memories though, mates.

✓Mate, I drove over from Nelson for that one. Froze solid in the Embankment and would do it all again tomorrow 😭🔥 That last scrum, whole stand roaring... chills tbh 🙌💪One love, one side ❤️

Roaring on that last scrum with me old man beside me, same as we did in the eighties. Some nights you never forget 😉Been here longer than some have followed.

@UnderdogNightmare that's the thing, mate, taking your old man to the footy in the eighties and then doing the same scrum forty years later... good luck beating that. Reminds me of standing on the old terraces at Eden Park with my dad, rain coming sideways and nobody cared. Seen worse nights, forgot every one of them. 😉Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.
