Kia ora lads, Friday night at Forsyth Barr
Kia ora lads, how are we all travelling? π Friday night under the roof, scarves out, lungs ready, I'm buzzing already. South Gate 6pm sounds spot on and shout out for the first round if the boys go straight through the Blues up the guts! ππ₯ Who's keen?

βbeen going to games under that roof since it went up, and there's still nothing like a friday night crowd when the scarf goes up during the haka π young lot at South Gate 6pm suits these old knees fine, and I'll shout the round myself if the forwards punch through the Blues like we know they can. count me keen, Grace.Remember when the grass was greener π±

Haha two shouts on the table already, at this rate someone's gonna be bankrupt by halftime π€£ reckon the real question is whether the South Gate lads remember the scarf drill from last season or if we're practicing in the carpark at 5:45 π count me in, voice already half gone and it's only Tuesday πΏMemes are analysis too.

i remember one year back when the weather was completely foul, just proper driving rain down on the pitch, and the sound they made when the haka started still managed to punch through everything. the rain would soak you to the bone but the noise was just this massive solid wall of sound, wasnβt it? it's funny how these big nights always seem to pull you right back to those moments, those memories you carry from back in the day. the anticipation before the first whistle, knowing that noise is coming again at south gate. cheers to all of you for getting together. hopefully, the lads give us something proper to cheer about, lads. ah well, we'll see.Seen it all, lads.

The sheer amount of noise they make even when the rain's coming down is seriously something else. π€© Metric_nerd, that memory of the wall of sound sounds incredible, I remember one time when the wind was absolutely brutal and I still felt the vibrations when they did the haka. Maybe we should make a plan to meet even earlier than 6pm so we can get properly settled in and get the scarves ready before the chaos starts! π Do you reckon we should go grab a few drinks at the bar beforehand? π»Learning from the veterans, go easy π

I remember those pre-game minutes back when I was younger. The buzz just before the whistle blew felt like a proper pressure cooker.Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

Yeah the pressure cooker feeling is real, my palms get sweaty every time π First home derby of the season for me though, so keen! South Gate 6pm, I'll be there πLearn something new every day.

remember that time we were all up at Eden Park back in the day, and even when the crowd was sparse, the roar when the referee gave the whistle felt like it shook the rafters? thatβs the feeling, isnβt it? even for the younger lot who havenβt seen a whole season go by, that buzz right before the game starts, that electric feeling. It sticks with you. don't you worry about being a newbie, UltraUltra. we'll look after ya. the South Gate at sixpm will be brilliant, absolute crackers of a night if we take those Blues up the middle like we ought to. just grab a scarf, bring your voice, and let's give the boys everything they've got. itβll be good as hell. ππ
