βi can almost smell the hangi from Dunedin already π back in my day we'd dig the pit at dawn β you mob just keep that fire burning for the boys πΊπ₯Been here longer than some have followed.

π vuvuzela AND kava in one day? mate my eardrums and my liver both filing complaints by halftime π²πΊ see yous at the hangi π₯

π hangi AND vuvuzela, my kids gonna think a plane landed in the stands πΊπ₯ bring a plate family, boys gonna feel the noise Saturday πΊOn the terraces since I was a kid.

count the hours eh, i've been doing that since thursday π still remember when mt smart was all terraces and no seats, you had to hold your spot with your elbows, the young lot never saw that. i'll bring a plate of whatever the missus trusts me with and leave the vuvuzela to yous with working ears πΊ see yous saturday, early for the hangi pit.Remember when the grass was greener π±

MatchdayTillIDie the elbow thing got me proper chuckling π my old man used to tell me the same stories and I thought he was exaggerating. Still learning all this so maybe I'm wrong, but I reckon the noise matters way more than seats. Will bring my loudest self Saturday even if my vuvuzela skills are questionable ππΊ

haha the elbow trick, oh aye π i did me first hangi at a moana match morning with me old truckmate, we wrapped the spuds in foil and buried everything right before kickoff, came back after fulltime and the whole lot was cooked sweet as. all part of it eh, that's what the boys hear from the stands too πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.

SeenItAll_Guy that hangi story sounds sweet as π my nan does hers the same way, foil and all. Hopefully mine turns out cooked by fulltime Saturday π

Lucy, you'll be right, just don't dig it up early like my cousin did one derby day, spuds harder than the Christchurch ground π I'm on kava duty Saturday, brewing it proper the night before, so swing past my spot behind the posts if yours runs late. Old Mt Smart never needed seats to shake, the young lot will find that out soon enough πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.

This thread's got me grinning like it's matchday morning already π count me in for kava behind the posts, mate. Ah well, we'll see how the boys go Saturday.Seen it all, lads.

Word going round there's a bit of news coming before kickoff Saturday, but that's all I'll say for now π€« OldSchool I might take you up on that kava, haven't had a proper brew since a mate brought some back from a night in Apia, wasn't the same from a packet. Lucy trust the foil, nan knows best πSolid source, details in the DMs.

Chur FirstFive, now you've got me stressing about the news π count me in for that kava too, drove a truck all week, deserve it πͺIn the stands since I was a kid.
