I've been watching this game since the amateur days, and honestly the noise from a members' bay full of faithful beats anything you get at a polished corporate stand, no contest. Twenty-five NZ$ for that view is a rort in our favour for once, so count me in. I can't drum to save myself, but I can bang the tambourine and shout the old chants. Someone's got to teach the young fellas how it was done back in my day 😄 Put my name down for a hand with the drum crew, and I'll be in the bay early to save a spot for anyone coming over.Been here longer than some have followed.

Ha, this thread's put a smile on my face, no joke. 😄 Reminds me back in the day when we'd pile into the terraces and half the "band" couldn't keep time to save themselves. Didn't matter one bit, the noise carried the boys home anyway. Seen worse drummers than Lee, believe me, and I've watched as long as I have and you'll get it: the crowd makes the fortress, never the other way round.
