βAnyone else remember when we used to get hammered at home like that π± now we're the ones putting 57 on someone! You don't abandon your own.

Took the lads last two home games at good odds and both landed, so I'm not complaining π but that 21-32 at North Harbour is still sitting in my mind, that's the version that shows up some nights. I'll have a look at the TAB line when it opens, Auckland away off a big travel leg might be where the value hides. Bit of my bankroll on the win margin band, rest on the terrace seat next to you Ben πΈπ₯The line moves β catch it.

North Harbour game was just the lads saving the real show for the big night π€£ my couch already knows where I'll be 1 Oct, it's gonna be a fun night πCame to laugh, stayed for life πΏ

Funny how the same mob who put 57 on Tasman also lost to North Harbour a week later π Auckland night, I'm in - just don't tell me the TAB line yet π€‘Here to argue, not to nod along.

SeenItAllFaithful, aye, back in my day we copped those thrashings at Carisbrook more than once π but that Harbour night shows the old inconsistency's still lurking. I'll be there 1 Oct anyway.Been here longer than some have followed.
-
Funny how everyone forgot we shipped 24 points to Hawke's Bay before the party started π same mob suddenly "title favourites" off two good nights. I'll be there 1 Oct, though I'll trust the TAB line more than the highlight reel π€‘ anyone actually backing Auckland? It's a lottery, not sport.

ha, Model_Head's got a fair point, seen worse than getting carried away off two good nights. back in the day at the Brook we'd sing the team home one week then watch them fall over the next, so the Harbour loss doesn't shock me much. still, 50-plus twice in a month is something special and I'll be at Forsyth Barr on the 1st, good seat money well spent. ah well, we'll see πSeen it all, lads.

Chucking 50 on Counties away then dropping one to Harbour the very next week is peak Otago, always has been π reckon the 1 Oct crowd will show up anyway, Auckland nights at the Barr always pull a decent house. Model_Head, I'll take the highlight reel over your TAB line any day, how's your record going again? π€‘Any stat can be bent.

aye, andy's got it spot on, that feast one week, famine the next is how it's always been since the Brook days. still, back in my day we'd have crawled over broken glass for a 50-pointer, so I'll take the ride πRemember when the grass was greener π±

I put NZ$20 on the boys beating Auckland back in July when the line was still generous, so believe me I'm emotionally invested in the 57-33 thing being real π what cracks me up is everyone memory-holed that Harbour game like it was a bad dream - 21-32 away from a team that had just hung 50 on Counties. That's the side of Otago I've watched for years, whatever you back them one week they humble you the next. Auckland under the roof on a Thursday night will bring a crowd regardless, they always do, but I'll be watching the TAB market on that one before I crack the beers π€‘ if the line stays anywhere near single digits I might top up.Any stat can be bent.

Yeah nah, 107 points in two weeks then 21 at Harbour, my TAB slip aged like milk. I'll be there on the 1st, mostly to watch Auckland silence the fanboys πShow me your ROI first π

Dunedin in October, that roof'll be doing its job π StatHead can smirk all he likes, I've seen worse Auckland sides leave that ground quiet. Count me in.Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

Remember the Bledisloe nights at Eden Park when one side would pile on fifty and then lose the next week by twenty - Rugby's always had a sense of humour like that. Otago put 107 on the board in a fortnight then managed 21 at Harbour, so I'd keep the expectations loose, mate. Still, I'll be in my seat on the 1st, and you never quite know which Otago turns up πSeen it all, trust me.
