The way this thread is going, someone's about to remortgage the flat for the Canes 🤣 Honestly the points difference has me half tempted but then I remember I once put $20 on my own design portfolio website winning an award and even that didn't land, so my track record as a punter is worse than my drawing skills 😂 I'll be cheering from the couch with a box of ShapeStockers and zero money involved. 562-298 reads nice on the screen but finals footy is a whole different animal. SeenItAllFaithful, I'm with you mostly. This is the best Canes side I've watched since the old days, and three losses in fourteen rounds speaks for itself. My only caveat is finals rugby has a funny habit of humbling the table-toppers; I've seen better sides than this stumble when it counts. Small stakes for me too, Lucy's got the right idea. Metric_nerd, I'm with you mate, best Canes side I've watched since the semi runs of the late 90s, and I've been going to games since before it was even called that 😄 one caveat from an old punter though: back in my day the top team at round 14 was worth about as much as a beer coupon come finals time. three losses is honest form, but the business end is a different animal. seen worse sides lift the thing, and better ones trip at the doorstep.Been here longer than some have followed.
