Kia ora whanau, matchday tarpaulins
Kia ora whanau!! π₯π₯ how are we all doing lads?? Been flat out all week but the second I saw matchday is nearly here my whole mood flipped ππ
Right, the plan: pre-match hangi at the pub before kickoff, bring your island colours, all of them, EVERYTHING. Umu uncle Sami is sorting the kai (legend πͺ) and they've got $5 sausages on the barbie outside for the early arrivals, so no excuses to turn up hungry. Tarpaulin crew we need you from 4ish, the big banner ain't gonna unfurl itself π€ And afterwards, karaoke till they chuck us out. Last time was chaos, absolute chaos, my voice still ain't recovered tbh π
Bring the lungs, bring the choir, loudest mob in Auckland as always. GET IN!! π₯π€β€οΈπ

βCount me in for the hangi, that's a proper way to fill the belly before kickoff π remember when the only feed at Eden Park was a lukewarm pie and a $5 sausage sweating on the tarp, we've come up in the world. Keen as, I'll dig out the island shirt that hasn't seen daylight since the last home game. Save me a seat near the karaoke, I only sing after a win mind you πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.

Hangi AND karaoke after the whistle?? My singing voice has been described as a warning to others so I'll stick to the sausage duty π last home game I went for the $5 snag, looked away for one sec, seagull took the whole thing, hold my pint, this time the tarp and me are watching each other π€£πΌπΈMemes are analysis too.

Nah seagulls are a whole defensive unit at Eden Park, someone needs to man-mark them ππ€£ Tarp duty suits you mate, that's real commitment πͺ Hangi + island colours sounds perfect tbh. Been too long since the whole crowd was singing like that, still get chills thinking about the noise last season, proper spine-tingler π₯π I'll be there with the family, might even grab the mic after the whistle but no promises on the quality ah well, nowt to do. See yous all there whanau πΌπΈπ₯On the terraces since I was a kid.

Man-mark the seagulls π proper drills needed for that defence. Hangi + karaoke, we're gonna be so loud π₯π

Man-marking seagulls, mate, they'd need to train all preseason for that π If the karaoke's as rough as the sausage defence I'm bringing earplugs π€£π€£

Karaoke after a few pints?? Last time I sang at the club do they retired the mic π but count me in for the hangi, bringing my colours π₯π ah well, nowt to doYou don't abandon your own.

haha you're on John, though i've seen mics come out of karaoke nights in worse shape than any sausage defence π back in my day we just sang out the pub window after the match and nobody complained. hangi, colours and a bit of noise, that's all a matchday needs really. count me in, and i'll bring the patience for whoever decides Sweet Caroline is their moment πRemember when the grass was greener π±
