Mate at work reckons a certain Kiwi ten with a winners medal gathering dust somewhere might be off contract, and word is our board's got a bit of cap room to play with. Won't name names till something solid surfaces, but the thought of him steering us round GIO Stadium has me grinning good as gold. Imagine that arm dropping ball on the runners all season 😏

I could be wrong, but the maths on this one looks shaky to me. A Kiwi ten off a winner's medal is presumably mid-to-late twenties and would command top dollar elsewhere, so the cap room would need to be enormous to get it done, and clubs rarely let a starting playmaker walk when they can re-sign him. I'd file this under hopeful gossip until someone names a source. 📊Do the math before you argue.

Nah I'm with the dreamers on this one 🔥 if there's even a whiff of that bloke being off-contract you swing hard, simples. Yes he'd cost a bomb, but a proven ten wins you way more games than whatever bench depth that cap room buys otherwise. Chris mate, clubs let walkers go all the time when the money's overseas, wouldn't be the first. Imagine him in our colours ah well, nowt to do till names drop 😅On the terraces since I was a kid.
