Word is there's a fetcher-type first five down from Auckland who's keen on a change and might be gettable if the union stumps up. Heard it from a bloke who'd know, so grain of salt and all that, but given we've coughed it up 14 times going wide from 10 in the last three at the Stadium, I'd take anyone who can actually pass flat and hold the ball. Get him in before someone else does.

Mate I was at the Stadium for that Canterbury game and every wide ball from 10 was a heart attack 😱 we're crying out for someone who'll compete at the breakdown AND get the backline away clean. I was at the Canterbury game too, the wide ball off 10 just hangs there, no competition at all. An Auckland fetcher-10 wanting to come here? Surely he'd want more coin than we've got. 😏Any stat can be bent.

I've seen this movie before, lads, remember the Wellington loose forward we all got excited about a few seasons back? Name in the paper, union "keen", then nothing but silence and a contract down south. 😄 I'm with the skeptics here, no name means no story, and the 14 turnovers at Albany won't fix themselves while we wait. LeeLegend has a point, if a 10 genuinely fixes the breakdown you pay him, same as paying for a goal kicker. Problem is Harbour have been burned before, the line moved quick on that Wellington story and nothing landed. I'd want to see the wage talk leak before throwing any of my $20 multis at them making the semis 😭Bankroll discipline wins.
