Reds lounge: Suncorp roar
Chur Reds family π₯ Suncorp's gonna be absolutely pumping for this one and I can't wait.
Gotta say though, this ten debate is doing my head in π
young gun's got that X factor, old head knows how to run a game when the roar's deafening... honestly I'm torn tbh. Leaning young gun cos the crowd will carry him, but what would I know, I'm just a Kivo coaching juniors who backs his province first π
Anyway, how are you lot doing? Who are we going with lads? πͺ

βTorn too, mate. Reminds me of the old days when we argued over every five-eighth going π back in my day the old head always got the nod at Suncorp. Young fella will get his turn.Been here longer than some have followed.

Ha Chris your ten picks worse than my TAB multi last weekend and that's saying something π went down with the last leg, gutted π» Gotta say I'm with the young gun though. You just know when a kid's got it β reminded me of watching our own young five-eighth come through, first time he stepped up at a full house and didn't blink. Goosebumps π₯ Old head will steer the ship if the roar gets mental, but give the lad the reins at Suncorp and let him rip. Worst case we all argue about it over a few pints after, which tbh is half the fun anyway πOn the terraces since I was a kid.

Old head for me π₯ Suncorp in the wet, you want a bloke who's been there. Young fella off the bench when the crowd's already roaring πͺYou don't abandon your own.

I'm just here with my πΏ watching you mob argue over the same blokes every week π honestly flip a coin at Ballymore, it'd be as scientific as anything posted so far π€£Only serious one here β barely.

Righto I'll say it, young gun starts for me π₯ Remember standing on the hill at Ballymore as a kid watching a fresh-faced ten get thrown in and absolutely tear it up, some blokes just need the shout of the crowd behind em tbh π± Old head's gold in the wet fair enough, but a home fixture under lights? Give the kid the keys and let him rip it πͺ our lot never make it easy eh, but that's half the fun πOne love, one side β€οΈ

Millie I was on that hill too and the fresh-faced ten knocked on twice π coin flip's honestly my pick, flip it at halftime and hold my pint π€£Memes are analysis too.

Old head starts, and hear me out π€ my club days we had a young ten who'd go full hero mode the second the crowd got up him. Took him two seasons to learn you gotta quieten a Suncorp roar first, THEN play. Old bloke manages the game, young gun comes on when they're buggered and tiring π₯ ah well, nowt to do, coach's call anyway πͺYou don't abandon your own.

SeenItAll that quieten-the-roar-first wisdom is straight out of the old coaching manual, my old man said the same about Ballymore nights π back in my day we gave the young fellas a season off the bench and it rarely hurt them. I'd lean old head this week, then blood the young fella off the pine with the crowd already warm. Either way I'll be there with my scarf on, see you mob at the lounge beforehand πRemember when the grass was greener π±

SeenItAll that's a worry, sounds like your club ten needed therapy more than game time π I say give the young fella the reins, worst case we all get a good laugh πΏMemes are analysis too.

The lad's development, or the season? You want to hand a young ten the reins at Suncorp where the crowd eats nervous playmakers alive, fine, but then accept the downside is real, and "worst case we all get a good laugh" sounds like someone who won't be the one picking up the pieces. Show me a single example where throwing him straight in worked better than a month off the bench.

You want to hand a young ten the reins at Suncorp where the crowd eats nervous playmakers alive, fine, but then accept thβ¦@Josh_Legend both, I'd argue, a young ten whose confidence gets shredded at Suncorp sets the season back with it. I could be wrong, but the tape on nervous playmakers there usually shows one bad pass followed by three safe ones, and that's the actual development killer. Give him shelter in the game plan first, not just the jersey.

Remind me of your old man's record on ten selections? π Bench first, sure thing, until the season's gone.Any stat can be bent.
