FINALLY a Friday night worth cancelling everything for 🔥🔥
Honestly after that rollercoaster month I've got no clue which Taniwha rock up in Invercargill, the lot that put 52 on Wellington away or the blokes who let Counties Manukau sneak out of Semenoff with it? I was at that Waikato game, 34:17 and the crowd going mental, best night at the ground in ages 🙌 Then two weeks later we're shaking our heads at a 19:22 home stumble. Our lot never make it easy tbh 😅
Backing them all day down in Southland though. If that Wellington version shows up, the staggers won't know what hit them 💪 chanting already: TAN-I-WHA! TAN-I-WHA! 🐉🔥

chriss pallet joke made me spit my tea out 😄 back in my day whangarei trips were the ones you circled on the calendar, and watch as long as i have and you'll get it, a side that puts 52 on Wellington away has something real, even after the counties stumble. andy's right to keep it single though; i'd be wary of the line down in invercargill, seen worse sides than the stags grind out a home night.Been here longer than some have followed.

underdog summed it up nicely, that 52 in Wellington wasn't a fluke, sides don't stumble into that. my caveat is the home loss to counties worries me more than it should, because back in my day a Taniwha side that got comfortable at Semenoff stayed comfortable for weeks 😄 i'll have a small punt on them down in Invercargill, seen worse bets than a team with that much attack in them.Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

Ultra88's got the right of it mostly, though I'd add a caveat — that Rugby Park crowd down here can get under visiting skins if the weather turns, and a spring nor'wester at kickoff is worth more than any line 😄 I watched Test sides look world-beaters one week and lost the next since before some of you were born. Still, i'll tip the Wellington version to front up, small punt. ah well, we'll seeSeen it all, lads.

Flogged Waikato, put 52 on Wellington out of nowhere, then let Counties Manukau walk out of Whangarei with it. Back in my day we called that playing to the crowd's mood, when everyone wrote them off they turned up mean, and the moment folks started clapping they got comfy. Expectations are a strange beast like that. Fullback_Faithful's NZ$20 on the good Taniwha might be safest the moment nobody believes in them again, which October 2 conveniently is. Down in Invercargill with the weather blowing through? Honestly I wouldn't swear on either version. The old saying fits: the ball bounces funny on a cold day.
