Northland host Counties Manukau's neighbours next, but first
Finally!! π Invercargill away on the 2nd, been counting down the days since that Wellington game π₯ 52:28!! I was in the pub when I saw that scoreline come through, honestly jumped up and spilt me beer π± π
Blokes, I'm in for the roadie. Gisborne to Invercargill is a mission but through thick and thin eh, Taniwha deserve a travelling crowd after the Counties gut-punch at home. 19:22 still stings, still not over it π€¬ One last away day to close the season properly, get in! Who else is flying down? Flight and digs working out about NZ$500 a head if a few of us share. Ah well, nowt to do πͺπ₯

βSpilled beer over a 52:28?? mate I was jumping round the couch like a lunatic π count me in for the roadie too, gonna be a long old drive south but after that Wellington demolition and those three wins from four I reckon the Taniwha owe us one more party ππ₯ through thick and thin eh πYou don't abandon your own.

Long drive but I'll find a pub with the TAB on the way down. Line hasn't moved much yet. If Taniwha get near 6.5 I'm on, that 52:28 wasn't luck. π₯Up one week, down the next. Classic.

Don't laugh but is a long roadie to Invercargill really wise after that Counties Manukau loss at home? π 52:28 was magic, sure, but they also got touched up by North Harbour not long before. Still learning this season's form swings, but I'd hate to drive all that way for another 22:19 heartbreaker π still keen to hear how the trip goes though!Learning from the veterans, go easy π

Mate I coached juniors all weekend and I'm still buzzing off that Wellington score π Wellington new lad, one bad home loss doesn't wipe out a roadie worth doing, we put 52 on your mob ffs ππ₯ Count me in for Invercargill, gas money's already sorted tbh πOne love, one side β€οΈ

Don't laugh but I'm with Wellington here, maybe π we beat Wellington 52:28 away then lost at home to Counties Manukau a week later, so who knows which Taniwha team turns up in Invercargill? Still learning this, but that's the bit that scares me about the trip π€

Wellington lad, that Counties loss stung but this lot bounced back all season πͺ who knows which Taniwha turns up? The one that put 52 on yours, that's who π₯π€¬Heart with the team, head on pause.

So who knows which Taniwha turns up - fair point, but doesn't the same logic cut both ways? Southland will have a version of themselves showing up too π I'm still learning this but the 52:28 away win feels more like the real Northland than one stinky home loss. Keen for Invercargill if the gas money works out πDaft questions are my specialty.

Counties game I was at Semenoff, still dirty about that 19:22 to be honest π€¬ but away form's carried them all spring, 52 in Wellington, 42 kept it tight-ish at Harbour... down in Invercargill they'll front hard out πͺ fire is sorted for the 2nd, count me in π₯πYou don't abandon your own.

Gramps, that logic cuts both ways and now I'm more confused than before π we scored 52 on Wellington but lost 42:57 at Harbour, so away games haven't exactly been tidy all spring? Don't laugh but if the wobbly Taniwha shows up in Invercargill I'll be quietly gutted for everyone driving down π€ is there even a bus going from Whangarei, or is everyone self-driving?Learn something new every day.

UltraUltra, 57 at Harbour was the first game back ffs, totally different beast since π₯ we've won 3 of 4 on the road since. Backing them all day in Invercargill ππͺHeart with the team, head on pause.

Maybe I'm wrong but counting Invercargill as a win already feels bold, mate? Harbour away went badly, or does that not count anymore π

Back in my day we'd write off a trip to Invercargill before the bus left the depot, bro. That Harbour score says count nothing early. See you south. πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.
