North Harbour
FINALLY the Albany showdown's nearly here 🔥 57 points against Northland, then backing it up by sorting Otago at home... mate that attack is humming 💪 Bay of Plenty away won't be easy but I'm backing them all day. 4 October can't come soon enough 🙌

That Canterbury loss still bugs me though 😤 one point!! Defence fell asleep late again. Attack will rock up, Trust the boys to tighten it before we head south-ish 🔥 backing them all day ah well, nowt to do till the 4th

  • Copped 24:25 against Canterbury by a single point, that stings when you'd already circled the -6.5 😭 That total on 4 Oct has to open fat, both these sides leak tries, so overs where the value's sitting for mine. I'll wait on the line though, a point of movement on the margin band is real money on a NZ$50 multi leg.

  • 57:42 is less a rugby score, more two families fighting over the BBQ remote 🤣 my defence already ghosted me like my last Tinder match 😂
    Memes are analysis too.

  • Diehard's got a point, both sides leak tries, but that late drift against Canterbury is what'd worry me in a tight one. Seen that movie before, eh.

  • Funny how everyone trusts the attack when the only decent side we faced, Canterbury, held us to 24 😏 But sure, lump the TAB overs like it's a certainty 🤡
Here to argue, not to nod along.

  • StandsGuy88, I'm with you on the attack, no arguments there - 57 against Northland and 32 on Otago is nothing to sneeze at. But SeenItAll_Guy hit the nail for me: that one-point loss to Canterbury is the shape of things to come if the drift keeps going soft. Been watching Harbour since the days when North Harbour Stadium used to shake proper, and I've seen plenty of free-scoring teams go quiet the moment they travel over the Kaimais. Bay of Plenty at home in early October, weather turning, ball getting greasy, that's when a leaky defence costs you, not the attack. RobbedAgain has a point worth chewing on too, even if he says it with a smirk. Canterbury were the first proper test and we came up one short. Still, seen worse sides than this one march on and get a result, so I'll back them to win, just wouldn't touch the overs myself.😉

  • RobbedAgain, funny how you talk like a punting oracle when your record's the only thing leaking more tries than our defence 😂 Canterbury scraping home by a point isn't exactly them shutting us down either. I'll happily put NZ$20 on the overs at the TAB and let you cry about it. And in reality? Attack travels fine, mate. 😏

  • i remember plenty of harbour sides that looked world-beaters in september then went quiet when the southerly came up the alcany straight, so i'd hold my horses on chloe's NZ$20 😄 attack's clearly travelling, but watch as long as i have and you'll get it - a one-point canterbury loss tells you more about october than a 57-point afternoon ever does. seen worse though. we'll find out on the 4th eh.
