Kia ora whānau! 🔥 Matchday eve and I can already feel the buzz - been humming all day at work, boss probably thinks I've lost the plot 😅
Lounge is open from 5pm tomorrow, kava's sorted (my shout, first bowl's on me 🙌), bring your horns and your loudest lungs for the haka. The boys will hear us right up in the stands, I promise you that. Been too long since we shook things up and I reckon this is the night, eh.
How are you lot doing anyway? Who's coming down early to grab the good seats? 💪😱

✓back in the day we'd queue at Eden Park just to get in early, now my grandson's got a vaka horn louder than the whole 80s terrace 😄 kava on you sounds sweet, see you at 5 whānau.

@OldSchoolSince86 leave my lawnmower alone mate, that horn has seen more finals than some of these young fellas 😄 Honestly though, this is what it's all about eh. The whole whānau crammed into the lounge, kava going round, half of us tone-deaf on the horns and nobody caring one bit. My old man used to say the pre-match yarns were half the reason you went at all, and he was right. Back in the day we didn't have a fancy lounge, just a cold ute and a thermos, but the feeling was the same. Whatever happens out there tomorrow, the boys will know we're behind them, she'll be right either way. See you all at 5, I'll be the grey-haired fella with the allegedly dying horn 😄 ah well, we'll seeSeen it all, lads.
