Gitea's Lawns and Friday Night Beers
How are we all then lads?? π Friday night beers in the Canberra chill, wouldnt miss it for anything π₯ Old Canberra Inn from 5pm, NZ$12 parmys on and row G holding court, still crack up thinking about the night the Gitea zone got its name, bloke got planted and the whole ground went off π± legendary stuff. Wrap up warm and get in early, seats fill quick tbh, ah well, nowt to do πͺ

βfunny how one mad moment gives a whole row of seats a name that outlives half the players on the park. i've shivered on sidelines since the amateur days and i'll tell you straight, that canberra chill has got nothing on a midwinter night at the brook when the fog rolled in off the flats and you lost sight of the far touchline altogether. seen worse, and always with better company π anyway, 5pm at the old canberra inn it is. NZ$12 for a parmy in this economy is a small miracle, so someone get in early and hold row G before the gitea zone regulars hoover the lot. be good to catch up with you all, beats watching from the couch any day of the weekBeen here longer than some have followed.

I've still got the streaker tackle saved on my phone, shows it to new hires at the warehouse like it's a family heirloom π€£ Risking frostbite on row G for a NZ$12 parmy and cold beers, honestly a better trade than anything the TAB's offering this weekend. See you lads at the Inn, I'll be the one wearing four jumpers π»Memes are analysis too.

UpsetKing_Nightmare showing the streaker clip at the warehouse π legend behaviour. I'll be there 5 sharp, first round on me if the Tahs get pumped π₯πYou don't abandon your own.

count me in for the 5pm at the Inn, first parmy run is mine π that tackle still makes me grin, the young lot never saw it live but half of them can recite it. seen worse chills than a Canberra friday night, and row G in the dark after full time beats any heated lounge. see you lads there, StandsGuy88 don't spend all your money on round one π

ha, this thread's turned into a proper roll call hasn't it π good on youse all, this is what the club's about, parmys at NZ$12, cold hands on row G and a clip of one mad tackle that'll outlive us all. frontrow mate, save me a seat near the aisle, old knees don't fold like they used to back in my day at the terraces. young ones listening to us bang on about that night like it's war stories. Sweet as, that's how it should be. see you all at the Inn from 5, first shout's on whoever's bravest with the frost πWatch as long as I have and you'll get it.
