From Waikato mud to two titles in a row
i was up at waikato stadium that night sonny bill flung the ball out of the tackle like he was passing a hot plate at a hangi - whole bay just roared. my old mate from te puke had a few too many and hugged a stranger in a crusaders jersey, poor fella didn't know what hit him 😄
back in the day we'd have taken one title in a decade and called it a golden era, so two in a row with that mud and those offloads, no, we'll never stop bragging about it, and honestly why should we. still got the scarf somewhere in the shed, might dig it out this weekend. chur you beautiful bunch. 😉
