From the sea of blue at NIB Stadium to every scrum since '06
i remember driving over to the first season in '06 like it was yesterday - took a sickie off the job, kids in the back, the whole family in blue and black we'd bought that arvo. nobody knew if this mob would last, but from that first scrum you could feel it was ours, you know? family before footy, footy as family.
and that brumbies night in 2010, 42-19, still gives me a grin thinking about it. bloke in front of me hugged a stranger and lost his hat, never seen it again 😄 i've still got the old membership scarf in the wardrobe somewhere, bit moth-eaten now, same as me honestly. some of you young fellas won't remember the sea of blue at nib like we old hands do, but trust me, it was special. keep those scarves out lads, stories like that are what make us family.

✓Milked the herd early and raced to the telly for that Brumbies night, 42-19 still gives me chills 🔥 my old man was a Force member from day one so it runs in the family. Funny how the memory works. That '06 side felt raw but fearless, while the current mob sometimes looks the other way round: tidier on the ball, yet you hold your breath at every lineout. Give this young crop another couple of seasons and they might grow into that same mongrel the originals had. Either way, both lots wear the blue and black with pride, and that's what counts 📊

My '06 scarf survived longer than my marriage, and honestly it's earned its place in the wardrobe more 😂🤣
