From the islands to the big stage
still remember watching that Lautoka night on a dodgy stream with the mates round at Si's place, old cibi in the floodlights and the drums rattling right through the telly. back in my day we'd queue round the block at Eden Park for a Bledisloe test and get nowt but heartbreak half the time 😄
what the boys did to the Crusaders that night though - seen worse sides than the reds get turned over, but never seen a crowd shake a stadium like Nadi did. proud as anything for a club so young. cheers lads, to the islands and everything that night gave us 😉

i'd given the boys a bit of stick all week and had to eat it that night 😄 me and a couple of workmates drove up from the coast, still reckon those drums were the loudest thing i've heard since the old Eden Park nights.Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.
