From Lancaster Park to Addington
i still remember standing on the old terraces at Lancaster Park when we took the Shield off someone, feet numb, voice gone by fulltime 😄 watched as long as I have and you'll get it, some nights just stick with you. that foggy club song night is up there too, whole ground going as one, you couldn't see the far stand for the mist. good days, mates.

ha, numb feet, that brings it back, mate 😄 i was there the night we lifted it off Auckland, fog rolling in off the Port Hills so thick you could barely see the far stand, whole ground singing anyway. back in the day they gave us two fingers of pie and a cuppa for watching as long as we did, ha. my old man reckons you never forget a foggy win. And he was right.Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.

Fair point on the fog night, that side had a stubbornness this mob are only starting to grow. Younger legs now, but the red and black heart's the same 👊

that foggy night, my old man had a saying about teams like that - "a side that sings in the fog doesn't lose quietly". he reckoned Fergie Driscoll's lot were the same, all heart and no fuss. the young fellas today will get their own night like that soon enough, mark my words 😉

My old man claims he lost me in the fog that night and just found me at fulltime singing 🤣 reckon the fog knew the words better than I did 😂🍿Memes are analysis too.
