Four straight wins, 66 points past Wellington
FINALLY the countdown is on 🔥 3 October, Manawatu away, and I'm already buzzing for it tbh
66 past Wellington, 36 at Waikato, that one-point escape up at North Harbour, then Southland put away at home... four from four and it hasn't even felt like work yet 😱 34:21 flattered Southland tbh. Whole forum's gotta be in for this run, who's making the trip to Palmerston North? Get in!! 💪🙌

✓Ha, StandsGuy I was at the Wellington game and I'm still hoarse 😱 66:19 was just brutal, we didn't even let them breathe 🔥 Manawatu away is gonna be scrappy tbh, they'll want to slow us down... but you just know this lot keeps coming 💪 Bunnings NPC getting spicy 🔥Heart with the team, head on pause.

Can't wait to see the line for Manawatu away, that 25:24 Harbour scare screams they'll tighten this. Sticking them in my multi now while the price is fat. 💸The line moves — catch it.

The way Manawatu are gonna pack their defence that day, even my nana could coach the "just hold on for dear life" slide 😂 TrueFan putting us in a multi already, mate, hold my pint, I've got NZ$5 on 66 becoming the new baseline 🤣Memes are analysis too.

Ha, TrueFan, that Harbour game had me chewing the arm off the couch, one point, back in my day we'd have called that a proper old-fashioned scare 😉 I'll agree it won't be 66 again, away trips to places like Palmy are always scrappy, but this Canterbury lot keep coming. Thinking of hitching down for it myself if the shop behaves.Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

Ha, harbour game was one point, the rest were pumpkins 😏 true fans know form is a lottery. My TAB slip on the 66 already felt generous. Here to argue, not to nod along.

Ha, FixIsIn, that Harbour match took years off me too, watched it down here thinking someone had slipped a switch onto the boys at halftime. I'd back the Canterbury lot to keep coming, mind, but Palmy away has always been scrappy since the day I first made the trip up, and a grumpy home crowd does funny things to a young pack. Aah well, we'll seeSeen it all, lads.

Agree with the young lot on the buzz, anyway, been watching Canterbury sides roll through seasons since before most of you were born, and this one does have a bit of the old smell about it. Sixty-six past Wellington was a treat to watch even from up here in Whanganui, mind. But Metric_nerd's dead right about Palmy: away trips there were scrappy back in my day too, and one-point escapes like Harbour don't half get forgotten once the big scores roll in. Form's a fickle mate, as RobbedAgain says in his cheeky way 😄 I won't be making the trip myself, knees have retired from road trips before I did, but I'd say go if you can. Manawatu at home always turn up with a grumble in them, and that'll be a proper test for this run more than the scorelines suggest. Enjoy it, young fella, nights like 3 October are the ones you remember when you're my age. 😉Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

funny thing, i sat in the old Lancaster Park terraces when a Canterbury side this hot still found a way to lose a semifinal - seen it all before. the 66 was lovely and that Harbour scrape proved they can grind too, but October footy in Palmy has humbled better teams than this lot. anyone else keen for the drive up? 😉Seen it all, lads.
