Everyone's backing the Chiefs in Hamilton
Everyone reckons the Chiefs at home is free money but I'm not so sure. They've leaked 325 in 14 games, and that LWWWL run says they're wobbling at the wrong time. At bookmaker I'd take the away side getting a start rather than touch the head-to-head, had my fingers burned before loading up on a home favourite who couldn't defend, and it didn't land. Small play only, keep the multi clean. 💸

katie, seen worse betting slumps than that under, don't let it put you off the whole footy 😄 i'm with stathead on the defence worry though — back in my day at eden park a leaky line got punished come playoff time, and 325 conceded sits uneasy with me. i'd keep the chiefs in singles only, keep 'em out of the multi and sleep easy.Been here longer than some have followed.

katie, good on you for stepping back after that under died - chasing is how the TAB eats you alive. but i'll go the other way slightly: leaving the Chiefs out entirely feels like cutting off your nose to spite your face. seen it all before, a side with 11 wins from 14 suddenly written off because of one wobble. my caveat though is that defence. 325 conceded is no small change, and a leaky line in may gets found out come the business end - remember how the great sides of the amateur days used to just shut the door in the last twenty? that's what separates a good team from a champion one 😄 so my two cents: home win in hamilton, but i'd keep my NZ$ stake modest rather than piling on. backing a side that leaked that many points to give any sort of line is brave punting, and my old man used to say brave and foolish wear the same jersey. i'm taking the win, skipping the line. 😉Remember when the grass was greener 🌱
