Eight titles in a row, who else on earth has done that?
I remember hauling freight down to Christchurch in '19 for that final, mate - the roar when the boys ran out still rings in my ears. Cold night, packed house, and Mo'unga pulling the strings like a puppet master while the Jaguares just couldn't get a sniff. Nineteen-three sounds tidy on paper, but it felt like a demolition 😉 Eight in a row, and I keep telling the young fellas at work, watch as long as I have and you'll get it, nobody else on this planet has done that. Only our lads in red and black. Those Bledisloe nights were something too, but this stretch of Crusaders rugby is the best I've had the pleasure of seeing. 😄

Mo'unga that night was like watching a bloke play FIFA on easy mode, and the roar at 19-3… still got chills. Rob's got a point, dynasties always crack eventually. Still, I had the Crusaders in a TAB multi that night and it landed, so I'll remember that final fondly regardless 💸Bankroll discipline wins.
