Chiefs sit 2nd on 51 points with 11 wins from 14
FINALLY mate π₯ 11 from 14 and 515 points on the board, we are absolutely humming rn πͺ Almost 37 a game ffs, that's box-office stuff and no mistake. Our lot never make it easy but when the machine clicks like this?? Backing them all day π

β515 in 14, imagine what they do to anyone silly enough to visit Hamilton in the playoffs π± half the forum already writing their soft excuses lol. The rest of yous better hope that attack has an off day π₯ ah well, nowt to doOn the terraces since I was a kid.

Landed my usual weekend play on them again, Chiefs off the head-to-head and I've been on the line most weeks now - the market just keeps pricing them like a good side, not a 37-a-game machine. 515 for, 325 against in 14, that's a 190-point differential and yet TAB keeps drifting the margin bands a touch wide whenever they're home. The odd try scorer angle's been my quiet earner all season too, back three finishes everything off in this system. Hannah's spot on about visitors to Hamilton, bookies clearly haven't adjusted for it. Only lesson from last week: their 3 losses mean the market still overreacts to one flat outing. If the line comes out anywhere near single digits, that's where the value sits. π₯Value over a big price πΈ

Honest question π they've lost 3 of 14 though, does one bad afternoon in the playoffs undo all that? Don't laugh, still learning this stuff πLearn something new every day.

NickLegend38 mate don't stress asking, that's a fair question π yeah 3 losses stings but every side in this comp drops games, what matters is the machine humming come playoffs, 515 points doesn't happen by accident πͺ through thick and thin with our lot, one bad arvo won't wipe that out π₯πYou don't abandon your own.

Genuine question here, don't roast me π but those 515 points, how many of them came against the bottom half of the table? Feels like every year some side racks up big scores early then the defence tightens in the playoffs and suddenly 37 a game turns into 17 a game. Gary said one bad arvo won't wipe it out, but three losses already happened, so which afternoons were those against? π Also Andy, if the market keeps pricing them like "just a good side", is that not maybe the smart money quietly saying the attack flatters them a bit? I'm only new to reading the TAB lines properly but that bit confused me a bit π€ Still buzzing watching them though, no denying the footy's fun π₯Daft questions are my specialty.

Gramps fair question tbh but every side's schedule has got bottom feeders in it, our lot still have to actually turn up and score them πͺ And they're putting up 515 WITH three losses in there... imagine if the machine had clicked all season π± Meanwhile we're sitting 2nd on 51 with room to spare, that's not padding, that's pace. Back them all day ππ₯One love, one side β€οΈ

Sorry, dumb question incoming π but is the 515 not a bit inflated by a couple of hiding days against the weaker sides? I only ask cos Gramps has a point about playoffs defence, and a 3-loss form guide doesn't scream machine to me π keen to be proven wrong though, cheers for the explanations in this thread πNew here, soaking it up.

been watching this comp since before the playoffs had a name, and i'll tell you the prettiest attack going into finals time has folded more often than the dour one - remember sides stacking 40 a game then going quiet in week one π 515 is lovely on a warm hamilton evening but expectations are funny things, they've burned better sides than this. ask me again after the semis, eh πBeen here longer than some have followed.
