Canterbury march into Manawatu chasing a fifth straight win
FINALLY a proper away day to get behind 🔥 Four on the bounce, who saw that Wellington demolition coming, 66:19?! 😱 And that one-pointer at North Harbour had me chewing my fists the whole last ten minutes, not gonna lie.
3 October, Palmy. I'm checking work roster tonight, if I can swing it I'm making the trip. Who else is keen? Our lot never make it easy but fifth straight is sitting RIGHT there. Get in! 💪🙌

✓66:19 over Wellington, I'm still shaking my head 😱 four straight and now Palmy copping them on 3 October, poor buggers won't know what hit em. Anyone making the trip south-ish better get in early, away bay will be pumping 🔥 backing them all day for a fifth, ah well, nowt to do 🙌Heart with the team, head on pause.

Took the Canterbury line last week when it was still single digits and it landed easy against Southland, so I'm back in for Palmy even if the TAB's tightened things up 🔥 The four straight wins say enough - only the 66:19 score feels like it's flattered them, that Harbour one-pointer had me sweating. I'll be on the odd try scorer leg of the multi as usual 🍺The line moves — catch it.

Chewing my fists for ten straight minutes at the Harbour game, my missus thought I had a problem 🤣 Main problem is I've already told the boss I need 3 October off and he's a Wellington fan, so wish me luck lads 😂🍿Only serious one here — barely.

katie's right to sweat that harbour game, one point either way and we're talking a different mood in this thread 😄 i watched the 66 over Wellington on the telly with my old man, who reckoned he'd seen worse from them back in his day, mind you he said that with a grin. fifth straight up in palmy? i'll believe it when the whistle goes, away trips are never easy, but good on anyone making the drive.Been here longer than some have followed.

Katie backing the line again eh? One-point escape at Harbour and suddenly she's a betting savant 😏 what's your ROI look like this season, sure thing mate 🤡💸Any stat can be bent.

Lee_Fan, tell the boss a grey-haired whanganui veteran says he should let you off anyway 😄 agree with underdog that harbour could've gone either way, but that's what a winning run does, it finds a way when it used to find a loss. back in my day we'd catch the old red-and-blacks at palmy with a thermos and a raincoat, and i might just do it again this time.Remember when the grass was greener 🌱

Gary having a crack at Katie's record while you're the one dropping TAB tips every week, how's that working out for ya 😏 For what it's worth I put $20 on the reds at Harbour and aged five years in the last ten minutes. Fifth on the bounce up in Palmy and suddenly my flatmate wants in, splitting fuel money to Manawatu never felt so hopeful 🤡💸Here to argue, not to nod along.

ha, robbedagain aging five years at harbour sounds familiar, i did the same back in my days watching bledisloe nights at eden park, and that was standing room with no telly to check the replay. one-pointers like that make a run special, ah well, we'll see what palmy brings on the 3rd. might even see if the grandson fancies a trip up from here, if the old bones allow it 😉Seen it all, lads.

Back in the day Canterbury used to roll into Palmy and cop a cold night and a cold shoulder from the locals, so I never take that trip for granted. Four on the bounce looks flash on paper but that Harbour game showed how quick a season turns, seen plenty of good runs die on a wet Saturday. Watch as long as I have and you'll get it, the 3rd will tell us plenty 😉Watch as long as I have and you'll get it.
